¿CINE O TEATRO?

Es cierto que ni soy cinéfila ni una loca del teatro pero, me encantan las 2 y si tuviera más tiempo iría con más frecuencia. Con este post puede que te haga «el plan», o incluso que te animes a conocer la obra de teatro que fui a ver el martes pasado en el Teatro Cofidis de Madrid: TAITANTOS.

Indeed, neither am cinephile or theater crazy but, I love both and if I had more time I would go more often. This post might make you «the plan», or even you will be excited to know the play I went to see last Tuesday at the Teatro Cofidis in Madrid: TAITANTOS.

CINE

Si hablo de cine obviamente tengo que empezar hablando de UN GRANDE: Denzel Washington, ESTE-ACTOR-ES-LO-MÁ-XI-MO

If I talk about films obviously I have to start talking about ONE BIG: Denzel Washington, HE-IS-THE-TOP-TOP.

Seguido de, el VETERANO-MÁS-CRACK-DE-LA-HISTORIA-DEL-CINE: Clint Eastwood, con su ceño siempre fruncido dando una imagen de persona dura y fría pero finalmente siendo el «gran abuelo de todos», me flipa su actuación en la peli de GRAN TORINO

Following the VETERAN-AND-MORE-CRACK-OF-THE-HISTORY: Clint Eastwood, with his brow furrowed always giving a cold image, cold person but finally being the «great grandfather of all», in GRAN TORINO I love his performance.

y por último no podía dejar de mencionar a LOS MELLIZOS porque digan lo que digan sí SON IGUALES:  Russell Crowe & Gerard Butler

and finally I could not forget to mention  this TWINS because whatever they say they look exactly the same: Russell Crowe & Gerard Butler

PELIS:

Se que hay cien millones de películas que, de lo buenas que son, forman parte de nuestra historia pero como os digo, yo NO soy cinéfila y me gustan pelis que me entretengan; bien porque me tienen en tensión hasta el final (lo cual me encanta) o porque son romanticas (SÍ, así soy)

I know there are a hundred million movies, and plenty of them are already part of our history but as I say, I am NOT cinephile and I like movies that entertain me, or because I want to know what is going to happen next (which I love) or because they are romantic
Empecemos: (os diré 10 para no aburriros porque podríamos estar toda la vida)

1. LOS PRÓXIMOS 3 DÍAS: PE-LI-CU-LÓN, si no la conoces por favor mira el trailer y hoy plantéate cómo verla:

1.THE NEXT THREE DAYS: Amazing if you haven´t watch it ask yourself how to watch it

2. EL FUEGO DE LA VENGANZA: bueno bueno, SIN PALABRAS. Denzel eres…demasié.

2. MAN ON FIRE: I have NO WORDS. Denzel you are incredible

3. Si eres padre y tienes una hija INSOPORTABLE (=edad del pavo) oblígale a ver: TAKEN (SÍ, sieeeeempre la recomiendo pero es que me parece buenísima, es un poco fantasiosa pero me da igual, ¿quién no se ha imaginado tener un padre así? jajaja) He de reconocer que la 2da pierde mucho… pero la primera ME ENCANTA.

3.If you are a parent and you have a daughter beyond all bearing force her to see: TAKEN (YES, I always recommend it but I find great, is a bit fanciful  I must admit that the 2nd loses much … but first I LOVE IT!

4. UN CIUDADANO EJEMPLAR: una OBRA MAESTRA

4. LAW ABIDING CITIZEN: A MASTERPIECE

5. MYSTIC RIVER: El Director no podía ser otro que Clint Eastwood: 10.

6. 7 ALMAS: Ya podrían existir billones de WILLS SMITH

7. Si quieres ver una peli española pero que ROMPA TOTALMENTE con el canon de ESPAÑOLADA, por favor ve: PAGAFANTAS, la he visto 6 veces y las 6 he llorado de la risa (Gorka Otxoa, enhorabuena eres demasiado); MAKTUB:  Si tienes ganas de ver una película bonita, tierna, divertida y que deja huella, ésta es tu película. Dirigida por el GRAN Paco Arango; LOS OTROS: Buenísima actuación de Nikole Kidman y espectacular entorno Cántabro, que es donde se rodó; LO IMPOSIBLE: el tsunami «más real y cerca» que hemos vivido los españoles y finalmente CAMINO: EX-CE-LEN-TE actuación de Nerea Camacho (ole!, ole! y ole!).

If you want to watch a Spanish movie but TOTALLY DIFFERENT please watch: PAGAFANTAS, I’ve seen 6 times and 6 I cried with laughter (Gorka Otxoa, congratulations you are too much); MAKTUB: If you feel like watch a nice and tender movie this is your movie. Directed by the GREAT Paco Arango THE OTHERS: Great performance by Belén Rueda; LO IMPOSIBLE the biggest and nearest tsunami the spanish people has suffered, and finally CAMINO: EX-CE-LENT performance of Nerea Camacho (ole!, ole! Y ole! ).

Aunque no soy fan de las películas españolas es cierto que estas 4 me han marcado. Cada una con su estilo y su temática, pero todas con una imaginación especial.

Although I am not a fan of Spanish movies is true that these 4 are top. Each with its style and theme, but all with a special imagination.

8 y 9.Para las románticas como yo, a parte de la mítica PRETTY WOMAN, TITANIC, LOVE ACTUALLY y A 3 METROS SOBRE EL CIELO, siempre recomiendo THE HOLIDAYS, Cameron Diaz y Jude Law se llevan la palma.

8 & 9.For the romantic people like me, a part from the legendary PRETTY WOMAN, TITANIC, LOVE ACTUALLY and a 3 metros sobre el cielo, I always recommend THE HOLIDAYS, Cameron Diaz and Jude Law act awesome.

10. LA CUARTA FASE: Si crees que has visto todas las peliculas de miedo y no has visto ésta…NO HAS VISTO NADA.  De verdad DA MUCHO MIEDO, y cuando digo miedo es mucho mucho miedo.  Basada en hechos reales. Segun comienza la película Milla Jovovich que interpreta a la psicóloga Abbey Tyler mira a cámara y se presenta: “Hola, soy la actriz Milla Jovovich e interpreto a la psicóloga Abbey Tyler”. Luego nos cuenta cómo lo que vamos a ver es una reconstrucción de lo sucedido en el pueblo de Nome, Alaska, y cómo algunos nombres de los protagonistas se han cambiado para salvaguardar su intimidad. Pero además cada escena de la película aparece divida en 2 puesto que sale la grabación real en un lado y la ficticia en otro.

10.THE FOURTH KIND: If you think you’ve seen all the scary movies and have not seen it … HAVE NOT SEEN NOTHING. It is very scary really, and I mean very very scary. Based on true story. Milla Jovovich looks at the camera and presents: «Hello, I am actress Milla Jovovich and I play psychologist Abbey Tyler». This film is a reconstruction of what happened in the village of Nome, Alaska, and how some of the characters names have been changed to protect their privacy. But also every scene of the film is divided into two since the actual recording goes on one side and the fictitious on the other.

TEATRO

La verdad que he visto varias obras de teatro pero la que más me ha llamado hasta la fecha es la de LOS DIEZ NEGRITOS. Fui a verla hace bastantes años y tengo buenísimo recuerdo. El martes pasado fui al Teatro Cofidis a ver la obra de TAITANTOS: De los productores de Closer, Elling y Días de vino y rosas. Es una comedia protagonizada por Nuria González que representa a una bloguera de éxito y madre estresada-nerviosa-atacada. Me lo pasé muy bien, aunque igual se hace un poco larga al ser sólo una actriz hablando 1.30h, pero tiene unos puntazos muuy buenos!

Actually I’ve seen several plays but the one I most loved so far is «LOS DIEZ NEGRITOS» de Agatha Christie. Last Tuesday I went to the theater to see the play TAITANTOS: By the producers of Closer, Elling and Days of Wine and roses. It is a comedy of Nuria González representing a successful blogger and stressed-nervous mother -attacked. I had a good time!
